Privacy and cookies
Data controller
CASAMAR, operator of Hôtel Douce France, processes the data needed to handle your enquiry or your stay. You can contact us at contact@hoteldoucefrance.fr.
Data processed on this website
This website involves no account creation and no advertising. The information you send us by email or telephone is used solely to respond to your enquiry. The hosting provider may keep technical logs that are essential to the security and proper functioning of the service.
Booking with Reservit
Online bookings are made through a third-party service provided by INTERFACE TECHNOLOGIES under the Reservit brand. When you use this booking engine, the information you enter — in particular your contact details, dates of stay and the data required for payment — is processed in order to check availability and to record and manage your booking. This service may set its own technical cookies. For any request concerning data processed by Reservit, you may write to dpo@reservit.com.
Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to answer your enquiries and manage your bookings and stays (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps), to meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting and the police registration form completed by foreign guests (legal obligation), and to keep the website secure (legitimate interest).
Job applications
CVs and messages sent to contact@hoteldoucefrance.fr are used solely to consider your application. If it is not successful, they are kept for a maximum of two years so that we can contact you if a position becomes available, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
WhatsApp messages
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages pass through the service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group), which is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. We use these exchanges solely to respond to your request.
Retention periods
Enquiries: three years after the last exchange. Bookings and stays: three years after your stay for customer relations, with invoices kept for ten years (accounting obligation). Police registration forms: six months. Job applications: two years at most.
Recipients and hosting
Your data is reserved for the hotel team and, where necessary, our service providers: Reservit for bookings, Webflow for website hosting, our email provider and our accountant. It is never sold. The website is hosted by Webflow, Inc. in the United States: this transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on your situation, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Write to contact@hoteldoucefrance.fr: we will reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at www.cnil.fr.
